The HKIA Innovation Hub showcases the latest technologies and initiatives being deployed throughout the airport, and the IT office serves as a co-work space for IT staff and contractors.

The Hub begins with a pre-function space and a display wall that leads into the seminar area. Operators from other airports and guests are begins their tour in the seminar space with an introductory presentation. Stepping past the sliding doors is the exhibition and experimentation zone. From digital display, virtual reality to physical equipment, the presentation is choreographed to demonstrate key technological strides at the Airport. Service robots, E-gates, and immersive cave simulation are a few examples currently on display.

The IT office provides hot desks, lounge seating, and standing stations to cater to different use cases of the permanent and transient staff. Collaboration is key and it is facilitated by various sizes of meeting areas along the perimeter as well as a central communal space for all to work and socialize.
