We work closely with the team at Truelight Middle School to revamp their library as a new generation e-learning commons for their students. The bold design move to unfold the traditional stacks into a continuous ribbon of books allows the shelving to become the backdrop of a much larger library space, and increases the exposure of the books to the students with lots of digital infrastructure integrated into this learning ribbon. The new window wall brings in ample sunlight into the spaces, and reinforces the presence of the library as the central hub for all students. By using minimal design moves, we integrated the old school premise with new design infrastructure that is much needed in secondary schools in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n
